Frantz Fanon on Dress

Fanon was a philosopher, revolutionary, and humanist who contributed significantly to the body of work on the effects of colonialism, decolonization, race, nationalism and identity. To see fashion as not only a relevant but a critical social construct through his eyes was deeply validating of my belief that what we wear, in fact, matters, far beyond what is on the surface.
